The laws that govern driving on public roads

posted on 6 November 2011

If there was no form of control on the roads and transport system there would be mayhem. Motorists are known to be breakers of the law at any chance that they get. This is why the use of traffic police and other officials is done so that all activities on public roads can be monitored. Before any driver is allowed to be on the road there are some requirements that have to be met and these are enforced in a bid to ensure order in driving. The main requirement for a driver is a driving licence which is issued after the passing of a theory and a driving test. An application must be made for this and the requirement for a Book Driving Test is that the hopeful driver should be no less than 16 years. The theory part of this test is based on knowledge about the rules that govern driving on public roads as well as matters of ethical conduct. The theory part seeks to enforce this knowledge on the roads as a means of proving that a test driver has understood everything.

Have enough money for other expenses after buying a new car

When you buy a new car, there are so many things which you have to put in mind. These days it is not all about owning a new car it is about making sure that your new car will be maintained just as it is when you buy it for a very long time. This will definitely mean having some cash in your pocket for maintenance purposes. You will need to visit a car wash maybe twice in a week to maintain cleanliness, you will need to pay for the license that allows you to drive your car, this is the tax disc, you will also need to pay parking fees each time you leave your car in a car pack. All these are expenses that come after the buying of the car, and if you are not ready to cover for these expenses, it is better that you do not buy a car in the first place. Keep your eyes opened and ensure that all you do is in line with the size of your pocket to avoid sudden embarrassments such a buying a car and keeping it in the garage because you lack money for maintenance.
