Why eBay is not a favorite of some people

Young people have embraced the idea of shopping online mainly on eBay. I cannot say that parents are fond of online shopping. I buy my movies and computer software via eBay all the time. I do not like shopping for electronics, and that is why I would rather buy them online. That usually makes sense most of the time. My mother does not have the same feeling. She says that shopping online brings about a very unreal feeling and that is something that she cannot get herself to get used to. She says that shopping from a place where she cannot even see what she is shopping is not good. This is because one can be buying fake merchandise without them knowing. She also does not like how the customer care of eBay and other online shops operate. She reminded me of a time that I asked her can I phone eBay, and we both searched for a number and did not find a working one thus resulted on sending an email. That is something that she did not like at all.
